NEW SMALL GROUPS ARE FORMING NOW

Grace Resurrection Small Groups meet regularly for sharing fellowship, laughter and connection in our Christian faith. Groups usually have approximately 10 members that meet in the church, at members’ homes or other venues. Meetings are weekly or on a regular schedule determined by group members. Small groups are formed throughout the year to encourage and invite new men and women to join with others to celebrate life’s blessings through friendships in fellowship.

MISSIONS AND OUTREACH

The Salvation Army of Metro Atlanta

Angel Tree
Each year The Salvation Army of metro Atlanta provides the magic of Christmas for thousands of underprivileged children in metro Atlanta. Be a GRMC “angel” and help give gifts to those in need. Last year more than 6,000 “angels” were adopted and had a brighter Christmas.

Angel Tree Sorting & Packing
Volunteers are needed annually to help The Salvation Army in metro Atlanta sort and pack donated Angel Tree gifts to be distributed to thousands of underprivileged children in metro Atlanta. This year GRMC will help at two Angel Tree locations – in Marietta and Tucker.

Must ministries

MUST addresses the basic needs of individuals, families and children with facilities in the Cobb and Cherokee counties and programs in numerous other counties. MUST brings people of many faiths together to respond to God’s challenge to minister to others with compassion and love, without judgment of the beliefs, background or circumstances of those who serve or are being served.

The Sandwich Project

GRMC is partnering with The Sandwich Project, a local non-profit organization, to make and provide fresh, homemade sandwiches to help meet the food scarcity needs in metro Atlanta. Through TSP, volunteers provide sandwiches weekly to 60+ charities dedicated to assisting individuals needing sustenance.

GRMC packs 100 sandwiches monthly to assist this organization.

Project Mail Call

The Project Mail Call mission provides a direct and personal method to contact and send customized care-packages and letters to U.S. Marines, sailors, soldiers, and ‘Coasties’ deployed overseas. At regularly scheduled, local packing sessions, volunteers pack boxes for military units based on the units’ unique needs and requests.

Particular attention is given to service personnel who are in remote locations, do not receive mail, or who provide humanitarian aid to schools, clinics, orphanages, or villages in their operating area.
